Jacqueline Ganier
Jacqueline developed a fascination with fictionalized storytelling at 6 years old, watching the soap operas her babysitter turned on to keep her occupied. It wasn’t long before she found herself dreaming up stories involving the characters she saw on television every afternoon, as if they were real people. As she grew into her middle school and pre-teen years, the characters and storylines she created expanded, influenced by the real-life dramas she witnessed at school. By the time Jacqueline reached high school, her secret story-making habit had become her favorite pastime:
“I would spend hours alone, running narratives and dialogue in my head.”
At the time, Jacqueline did not recognize her secret pastime for what it was—a talent. That discovery would not come for many years. In the meantime, she became a lawyer. On this path, she discovered her love for writing and honed her skills.
Just shy of her 50th birthday, having finally merged her knack for storytelling with her love of writing, Jacqueline finished her first manuscript.
Jacqueline currently lives in the Phoenix metropolitan area with her two adorable beagles.
